Assistantship Program:

The main hope of a family’s future lies in the proper education of its youth. MEYHM Family Foundation is striving to provide support services to underprivileged refugee families and students with assistance in offsetting:

-              Laptop or tablet costs (for educational purposes)

-              English as a second language fees

-              Vocational training fees

-              Community college or state university fees

Assistance to any qualified individual shall not exceed $5,000 in any calendar year.

We utilize a “per case” handling method to evaluate individual requests for assistance, in full transparency. Our team verifies the legitimacy of each case through a diligent review process to ensure that assistance is provided to only those qualified individuals. The number of assistantship awards and levels will be limited and driven by availability of funding. Therefore, rigorous qualification criteria have established to vet applications and award to the most deserving and needy applicants including: (1) valid legal status to reside in the USA; (2) financial need; (3) GPA and/or standardized test score (for scholarship awards); and (4) proof of acceptance into registered program (subject to financial capability).
